The Clayton Reunion was held in Bear Lake in August. Unfortunately it was probably the coldest weekend of the entire summer that weekend. I could not believe how chilly it was just sitting outside. Forget about going near the water! But, we had so much fun hanging around the beautiful cabin playing games, eating delicious food, and enjoying each other!
One of the rooms had a bunch of twin bunk beds. The kids thought playing with their cousins on the bunk beds was the coolest thing ever and weren't even a little bit sad about not playing outside.
Saturday afternoon the sun came out a little bit. We all threw on our swim gear and ran out to the cabin pool. That literally lasted maybe 30 minutes before we were all freezing! So weird for August!
Saturday night a big group of us rented a bunch of bikes and rode through town. It was honestly so much fun. We took turns on all of them and I think I laughed the whole time!
We rode to the famous La Beaus and got a famous Bear Lake Raspberry (+oreo) shake.
Despite the weather, it was a great weekend!
