Before we knew it summer was over. This time was a little different because Sequoia started preschool! I know she's still pretty young, but we figured she needed some interaction with other kids since she's around adults all day and I know every parent thinks their child is a genius but ours really is so we knew it couldn't hurt. Plus we knew an awesome little place where we knew she'd be in good hands ;)
Dillon made it a point to be home in time to see our little lady on her big day. We're so glad he did and so is he!
Dillon and I were totally the creeper parents on the first day. We walked her in and she couldn't have been more excited. There were plenty of kids in her class (ages 2 1/2- 3 1/2) who were struggling and crying with their parents. Sequoia gave us both a hug and told us, "see ya soon!" The problem was, we didn't want to leave. We asked the teacher if we could stay and she said we could watch through the door. So we did for a bit but soon realized we were like the only parents doing this so we left. We were just so proud!!!
Seriously, what happened to my baby???
