today my dad turned the big 5-0. it got me thinking, i hope i accomplish even half of what he has in 50 years in my lifetime...
some facts about dad:
: he is by far the hardest worker i know
:he has over 20 years of law enforcement service
:he once entered a hairy chest contest and came in second
:he operates several small businesses including lawn care, wood chopping, and outdoor retail
:he taught me to ride a bike, drive a car, and shoot a perfect score with a pistol, rifle, and shotgun
:he used to be a school bus driver and he would take me on his route with him everyday
:he has been a loyal husband and father for over 25 years
:when i was 16 he got me a job working undercover in bars and clubs, since then he has always encouraged me to pursue my dream of law enforcement and has never doubted me... even when everyone else thought i was crazy
:he attended Orem High and SUU- and so did I
:he was Mike Levittes favorite body guard
:he served his church in Ohio for two years of his life
:he maybe 50 but he can still smoke me in every aspect of the physical test we take yearly as law enforcement
:he knows all there is to know about camping, fishing, hunting or anything of the sort
:he is the best dad ever

I can't believe Uncle Bruce is 50! And I also can't believe that he entered a hairy chest contest!
