Cancun

we had a fabulous time in cancun.  it was so nice just to get away and enjoy each other.

the sun didn't come out much the second day but it was still warm and the water felt great!  we didn't let a little rain stop us from having a blast on the beach.

i think these pictures pretty much speak for themselves... so FUN!

below is a picture of dillon swimming in a cnote' it's pretty much a giant sink hole that you hike down into and then could cliff jump.  he and his friends had a great time, i enjoyed just watching as i figured it probably wasn't a good idea to cliff jump at five months pregnant... nor something anyone would want to see.  

the highlight of our trip was definitely the day we visited Chichen Itza.  we were fortunate enough to get a great LDS tour guide who related everything to the Book of Mormon.  we learned so much, it really was an amazing experience.

at the end of the day, after the park closed, our new friend Able the tour guide, was able to let us actually climb to the top of two of the temples and go inside.  apparently they used to let people do this but the place was named a world wonder a few years ago and they stopped letting people go inside.  there was a lot to see and there was a really cool feeling there.  dillon and i are so grateful we were able to do this.  we had a GREAT trip!!!
