The Saturday before Easter my mom, Sequoia, Winter and I headed up to Northern Utah to decorate eggs and have an egg hunt with Grandma Bev and lots of aunts, uncles and cousins. It was so fun, we love BC!
I'm embarrassed to say this was Sequoia's first time dying eggs... When my aunt asked her why she said, "because my mom hates messes!" ooops!
Each kid decorated an egg with their name on it and then we had hundreds of plastic eggs. My aunts and cousins set up this fun photo booth to entertain the kids while we hid the eggs, how awesome are they!
Sequoia loved finding all the eggs with grandma.
We drove home in just enough time to get the girls in bed before the Easter Bunny dropped by. Sequoia was so excited when she woke up but became suddenly disappointed that the bunny didn't hide eggs at her house. I think she's catching on that her bunny is uncrafty and boring!
We visited Grandma and Grandpa Story before heading to Grandma and Grandpa Bruce and Sheila's.
Luckily the Easter Bunny redeemed himself and hid some eggs there for Quoia!
Winter was beyond thrilled about all the tissue paper floating around.
We love Springtime and the special peace that comes with Easter!
