Another month has gone by and Winter is just as sweet as they come! Bless her heart, she has been sleeping through the night for about two weeks now. Bed time is 10pm and most nights we don't hear from her until 7 or 8 then next morning! She still loves the bath and to snuggle. She is always happy/content and will smile anytime you talk to or sing to her. She is just starting to coo and is getting a super strong neck. She loves to play with sissy and the feeling is most definitely mutual.
At her two month appointment she was 9 lbs 12 oz and 23 inches long. The doctor was concerned about a growth on her left eye which we have been watching since she was about three weeks old. We immediately went to a specialist who felt it would be best to have an MRI. So this morning we took little Winnie to the hospital to be sedated and have the MRI. It was so sad watching her get the IV and everything but she was a champ. All the nurses were totally in love with her. The actual MRI took about an hour and Dillon and I had to just wait in the waiting room. As soon as she was done and woke up we went back to the specialist's office to go over the results. Luckily we learned the growth is a hemangioma or a collection of enlarged blood vessels which is pretty easily treated, verses a problem with her skull or brain. Needless to say we are very relieved and are very grateful for incredible doctors and modern medicine. It was a long day for all of us but it really couldn't have gone better.
We love our baby girl so much and can't believe its been two months already!
