This Week

This past week we've had a lot going on.  For starters we are getting ready to move from Long Island.  That means it has been Dillon's last week of working out here!  And actually yesterday was his last day working for APX EVER!!!
(so, so SEXY!  who wouldn't buy an alarm from him?)

We have really enjoyed the adventures that have come with this job the last five years:  Getting engaged in Chicago, finding and loving a dog in Albuquerque, recruiting!  Traveling a lot, exploring Washington DC, winning $40,000.00 at rock paper scissors, cruising the Caribbean, having a true southern summer in Knoxville, going to Cancun, having a baby, packing up a 2 week old baby, and living a New York minute... but, we are so ready to start a new chapter in our lives, and no one is more excited than Dillon!

APX has been very good to him/us and we have been fortunate to meet and work with some fabulous people, but Dillon wasn't too disappointed when he knocked his last door ever yesterday.  This is a hard and stressful job and we are both excited for him to try something new as soon as we are home.

Also this week we were able to have Dillon's dad and step-mom visit us for 10 days before we move.  We had a lot of fun with them and got to see and do some fun things while they were here.  Here are some of the highlights:

We went to the Northern part of the Island and visited Teddy Roosevelt's estate.  We also got lunch and did some shopping in some of the cute little harbor towns.  I thought this little sign and cafe were just so cute!  It was exactly what I imagined an East Coast summer village looking like.

Grandpa and Grandma love Sequoia so much and they spoiled all three of us while they were here!  This was taken in front of an AMAZING little chocolate shop.

I didn't think anyone loved the beach as much as I did, but Randy and Christy let me take them twice!  Sequoia didn't mind either.  She loves to sport her ruffle bum bikini!

We also spent some time in the city (separate post coming soon).  This picture was taken in Central Park.  Thanks so much Randy and Christy!!! We loved seeing you!
